Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE)
Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a recently recognized allergic/immune condition. A person with EoE will have inflammation or swelling of the esophagus. In EoE, large numbers of white blood cells called eosinophils are found in the tissue of the esophagus.
