Bardet-Biedl syndrome
Vision loss is one of the major features of Bardet-Biedl syndrome. Loss of vision occurs as the light-sensing tissue at the back of the eye (the retina) gradually deteriorates. Obesity is another characteristic feature of Bardet-Biedl syndrome.
